More Music....

And now more music from artists outside the mainstream who (according to me) deserve wider recognition. Sarah Bettens is an indie rocker/singer/songwriter from Belgium, who together with her brother Gert formed the 1990's band K's Choice. Commercial success largely eluded the group over the course of four albums released between 1993 and 2000, though they did make one memorable appearance in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer performing their song "Virgin State of Mind". K's choice disbanded after their 4th album, with the Bettens siblings moving on to pursue solo careers. Sarah has released three solo albums, the most recent, "Shine", in 2007. With her characteristic smoky, husky voice, Sarah has spent much of the last few years performing small acoustic shows.

Below you can check out K's Choice in the video for "Mr. Freeze" off their 1995 album Paradise In Me, and Sarah doing an acoustic version of "The Soldier Song" off her 2007 release Shine. Learn more at http://www.sarahbettens.net/
